Natural Mindfulness
Natural mindfulness is about being present in the natural environment or within nature.
Mindfulness is acknowledging and appreciating the present moment in time - simply noticing without judging -not thinking about the past or future.
Natural mindfulness can mean several things. Firstly, that we practice being mindful whilst we’re in and around nature. Secondly, that it’s natural to you as a person. It can be self-exploration. Thirdly, there is nothing man-made, and no pretence, it’s just natural to the world. Mostly it’s a combination of all these things.
Natural mindfulness connects us back to our roots and back to the natural world away from all the modern technology and stress. We can take from and give back to our natural surroundings.
Natural mindfulness is a practice, that progresses over time as you enhance your knowledge and grow your experiences.
The benefits of natural mindfulness are extensive and can include:
Reducing stress and anxiety, works as an antidepressant, improves memory, stimulates creativity, lowers blood pressure, boosts the immune system, provides brain down-time, recharges the mind and body; supports pain relief and recovery; help reduce the risks of heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
